Illia Iuryovych Kovtun (born 10 August 2003)[1] is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast.

Career

In 2019, he won the silver medal in the men's team event and the bronze medal in the men's all-around event at the 2019 Junior World Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Győr, Hungary.[1][2][3]

He also competed at the 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan winning a total of four gold medals and one silver medal. He won the gold medal in the men's team event, the men's all-around event, the parallel bars and the horizontal bar. He won the silver medal in the floor exercise.

In 2020, he won the gold medal in the junior men's team event at the 2020 European Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Mersin, Turkey.[4][5] He also won the gold medal in the junior all-around, pommel horse, rings and parallel bars events.[5][6] He also won the silver medal in the junior vault event.[7]

In 2021, he represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
