Charam-e Kohneh (Persian: چرم كهنه)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Charam Rural District of the Central District of Kalat County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 991 in 248 households, when it was in Kabud Gonbad Rural District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 804 people in 248 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 674 people in 231 households.[2]

Charam Rural District was established in the Central District after the census.[4]
