Heshmatabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان حشمت آباد) is in the Central District of Dorud County, Lorestan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Heshmatabad.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 9,738 in 2,291 households.[5] There were 8,874 inhabitants in 2,279 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 8,933 in 2,341 households. The most populous of its 23 villages was Shahrak-e Emam, with 1,308 people.[2]
