Heshmatabad (Persian: حشمت آباد), also Romanized as Ḩeshmatābād and Hashmatābād,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Heshmatabad Rural District of the Central District of Dorud County, Lorestan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 732 in 168 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 662 people in 177 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 710 people in 214 households.[2]
