Govareshk (Persian: گوارشك, also Romanized as Govāreshk, Gavāreshg, Gavāreshk, and Gavārishk)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Darzab Rural District[4] of the Central District of Mashhad County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 910 in 265 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 905 people in 266 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,043 people in 316 households.[2]
