Gavrud Rural District (Persian: دهستان گاورود) is in Bavaleh District of Sonqor County, Kermanshah province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Deh-e Rezvan,[4] transferred from the village of Qomam.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the Central District) was 9,512 in 2,149 households.[6] There were 7,719 inhabitants in 2,210 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,770 in 1,881 households. The most populous of its 39 villages was Gerdakaneh-ye Olya, with 752 people.[2]

In 2021, Bavaleh Rural District and Gavrud Rural District were separated from the Central District in the establishment of Bavaleh District.[3]
