Faraghi Rural District (Persian: دهستان فراغی) is in the Central District of Torkaman County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Khvajehlar.[3] The rural district was established after the 2006 National Census.[4]

At the census of 2011, its population was 5,238 in 1,298 households.[5] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,656 in 1,423 households. The most populous of its seven villages was Khvajehlar, with 2,193 people.[2]
