Barzul (Persian: برزول), also Romanized as Barzūl,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Zarrin Dasht District of Nahavand County, Hamadan province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Fazl Rural District.[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 2,729 in 728 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,695 people in 825 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,457 people in 774 households.[2]
