Bahar (Persian: بهار)[a] is a city in the Central District of Bahar County, Hamadan province, Iran, serving as both capital of the district and of the county.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 27,271 in 6,956 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 27,645 people in 7,914 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 28,685 people in 8,953 households.[2]
