Ziya Gökalp (Diyarbakır, 23 de marzo de 1875 - Estambul, 25 de octubre de 1924) fue un prominente ideólogo turco del panturquismo o turanismo.

Gökalp nació en el seno de una familia turcomana.[1]​[2]​ Gökalp fue publicista y sociólogo pionero. Fue influenciado por la modernidad de Europa occidental, especialmente Francia y Alemania, y elaboró una ideología del nacionalismo turco.
