Veanne Cox (Norfolk, 19 de enero de 1963) es una actriz y bailarina estadounidense.
Biografía
Primeros años
Cox nació en Norfolk, Virginia. Se graduó en 1981 de la Manchester High School en Chesterfield, Virginia. Estudió ballet en la Escuela de Ballet de Washington, presentándose en el Studio Theatre (Washington D. C.).[1]
Carrera
Su debut en Broadway se presentó en el musical de Marvin Hamlisch Smile en 1986 interpretando a Sandra-Kay Macaffee.[2] Apareció en la versión para el Teatro Roundabout del musical de Stephen Sondheim Company en 1995 interpretando a Amy, actuación que le valió una nominación a los Premios Tony.[3] También integró el elenco de las producción de Caroline, or Change entre 2003 y 2004, en el papel de Rose Stopnick Gellman.[4]
Cox apareció en el telefilme Cenicienta (1997), interpretando a una de las hermanastras[5] y personificó a Theresa Dallavale en el largometraje Erin Brockovich del año 2000.[6] Ha aparecido además en capítulos de series de televisión como Blue Bloods[7] y Odd Mom Out.[8]
