Superchunk es una banda estadounidense de rock formada en 1989 en Chapel Hill, Carolina del Norte, es considerado uno de los grupos pertenecientes al rock alternativo de la década de 1990. Superchunk nunca perteneció a alguna escena popular, pero en la actualidad mantienen y mantuvieron su estatus de culto.

También perteneció al movimiento llamado Ética DIY de la década de 1990, tomando influencias igual del punk rock.
