La ratona de pecho moteado (Pheugopedius maculipectus),[2]​ también conocida como chivirín moteado[3]​ o cucarachero pinto,[4]​ es una especie de ave paseriforme de la familia Troglodytidae propia de América Central.

Distribución y hábitat

Es nativo de Belice, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua y sureste de México.[1]​ Su hábitat natural son los bosques tropicales.[1]​ No tiene subespecies reconocidas.[3]​
