Chelsea D. Specht ( n. 1970 ) es una botánica estadounidense. Es Profesora Asistente, habiendo obtenido su doctorado Ph.D. en Sistemática Vegetal y Evolución, en la Universidad de Nueva York, en 2004; y anteriormente su B.A. en Biología, en la Universidad de Delaware, en 1993.

Realiza investigaciones en la familia Costaceae en evolución molecular, desarrollo floral, y biogeografía.[1]
