(~Ph.D.), en la misma Universidad, con su tesis „Molecular and taxonomical studies on Minthostachys (Labiatae) and Polylepis (Rosaceae) – a contribution to the understanding of plant biodiversity in the Andes”, con la supervisión del Dr. Michael Kessler, con „magna cum laude“.[1]
