Zayandeh Rud (Persian: زاينده رود; formerly, Bābā Sheykh ‘Alī (Persian: بابا شیخ علی), also romanized as Bābā Sheykh ‘Alī)[3] is a city in the Central District of Lenjan County, Isfahan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 9,891 in 2,715 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 9,514 people in 2,827 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,463 people in 3,080 households.[2]
