Zarangush (Persian: زرانگوش)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Zarangush Rural District of Hendmini District, Badreh County, Ilam province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Lurs.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,605 in 307 households, when it was in Hendmini Rural District of the former Badreh District of Darreh Shahr County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 1,580 people in 412 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,444 people in 409 households, by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Badreh County.[4] It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
