In the 2021 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, West St. Modeste had a population of 102 living in 51 of its 62 total private dwellings, a change of -8.1% from its 2016 population of 111. With a land area of 7.6 km2 (2.9 sq mi), it had a population density of 13.4/km2 (34.8/sq mi) in 2021.[1]
