On June 12, 2020, in accordance with the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 725-p "On the definition of administrative centers and approval of territories of territorial communities of Kharkiv Oblast", it became part of the Dvorichanska settlement community.[3]

On July 17, 2020, as a result of the administrative-territorial reform and dissolution of Dvorichina raion, the village became part of the Kupiansk Raion of Kharkiv oblast.[4]

The village suffers from Russian occupation and is one of the few settlements and villages in the Kharkiv Oblast still occupied after the counteroffensive conducted by the Ukrainian army.[5]
