Mirbag (Persian: میربگ) is a village in Mirbag-e Jonubi Rural District of Mirbag District, Delfan County, Lorestan province, Iran, serving as capital of the district. The village is the merger of the two former villages of Farhadabad and Shahnabad.[3]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, Mirbag's population (as the total of the two villages before their merger) was 2,953 in 607 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,065 people in 702 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population as 3,085 people in 795 households.[2]

After the census, the two villages were merged to form the village of Mirbag.[3]
