Javersiyan (Persian: جاورسيان), also Romanized as Jāversīyān, Jāvarsīān, Jāverseyān, Jāversīān, and Jāwar Siān,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Qareh Chay District of Khondab County, Markazi province, Iran.[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Javersiyan Rural District (formerly Shara Rural District).[5]

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,573 in 1,275 households, when it was a village in Javersiyan Rural District of the former Khondab District of Arak County.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 4,726 people in 1,486 households,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Khondab County,[4] and the village of Javersiyan had been elevated to the status of a city.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 4,993 people in 1,640 households.[2]
