Fahraj Rural District (Persian: دهستان فهرج) is in the Central District of Fahraj County, Kerman province, Iran.[3] It is administered from the city of Fahraj.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Fahraj District of Bam County) was 7,872 in 1,757 households.[5] There were 12,782 inhabitants in 3,445 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Fahraj County.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 13,779 in 3,711 households. The largest of its 56 villages was Borj-e Moaz, with 3,095 people.[2]
