Chris Charles O'Brien (born July 24, 1989) is an American former professional baseball catcher.

The son of former Major League Baseball catcher Charlie O'Brien, he attended Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Wichita State University before being drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 18th round of the 2011 MLB draft.

O'Brien played in the Dodgers farm system from 2011–2014 with the rookie league Arizona League Dodgers and Ogden Raptors in 2011, the Advanced-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes from 2012–2013 and the Chattanooga Lookouts of the AA Southern League in 2014. He also played for the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League. The Dodgers invited him to Major League spring training as a non-roster invitee in both 2014 and 2015.

On April 9, 2015, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles (along with Ben Rowen) for pitcher Ryan Webb and another minor leaguer.[1]
