The Central District of Jiroft County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان جيرفت) is in Kerman province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Jiroft.[3]
At the National Census in 2006, its population was 143,590 in 30,350 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 179,836 people in 43,464 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 203,770 inhabitants in 60,684 households.[2]
After the census, Esfandaqeh Rural District was separated from the district in the establishment of Esfandaqeh District.[6]
