Early life and education

Almeida was born on June 25, 1963, in Santa Rita de Jacutinga, Minas Gerais.[1] According to O Globo, Almeida received a degree in history.[2]

Almeida was elected a city councilor in 1992. In 1998, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo. In 2010, he was elected to the federal Chamber of Deputies.[2]
