Asfyj Rural District (Persian: دهستان اسفيج)[3] is in Asfyj District of Behabad County, Yazd province, Iran.[4] Its capital is the village of Asfyj.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of Behabad District of Bafq County) was 2,070 in 525 households.[6] There were 2,127 inhabitants in 653 households at the following census of 2011,[7] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Behabad County.[4] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,064 in 714 households. The most populous of its 61 villages was Asfyj, with 619 people.[2]
