The 2024–25 I liga (also known as Betclic I liga due to sponsorship reasons)[1] is the 77th season of the second tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1949 and the 17th season of the Polish I liga under its current title. The league is operated by the PZPN.

Season overview

The season will start in July 2024 and will conclude in May 2025.

The regular season is being played as a round-robin tournament. A total of 18 teams participate, 12 of which competed in the league campaign during the previous season, while three to be relegated from the 2023–24 Ekstraklasa and the remaining three to be promoted from the 2023–24 II liga. Each team will play a total of 34 matches, half at home and half away.

  1. ^ Since 28 October 2023 Ruch Chorzów played their matches in Stadion Śląski.[2] It remains unclear if they will stay there or they will move to Stadion Ruchu Chorzów.
  2. ^ Due to the renovation of Dębińska Road Stadium in Poznań, Warta had to play their matches in Stadion Respect Energy in Grodzisk Wielkopolski since 2020.[3] However on 29 April 2024, Warta was granted to play their matches in Enea Stadion for the 2024-25 season.[4]
