The 2023–24 North Carolina Central Eagles women's basketball team represents North Carolina Central University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles, led by interim head coach Terrence Baxter, play their home games at McDougald–McLendon Arena in Durham, North Carolina as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Previous season

The Eagles finished the 2022–23 season 15–16, 8–6 in MEAC play to finish in fourth place.[1] In the MEAC tournament, they defeated Coppin State in the quarterfinals,[2] before falling to top-seeded and eventual tournament champions Norfolk State in the semifinals.[3]

On September 13, 2023, the school announced that they released head coach Trisha Stafford-Odom from her contract, after six years with the team, with assistant coach Terrence Baxter being named the interim head coach for the 2023–24 season.[4]
