Fasharud Rural District (Persian: دهستان فشارود) is in the Central District of Birjand County, South Khorasan province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Kondor.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population was 2,727 in 871 households.[5] There were 2,124 inhabitants in 782 households at the following census of 2011.[6] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 2,435 in 884 households. The most populous of its 33 villages was Shushud, with 460 people.[2]
