Клиффорд Эдмунд Босуорт (англ. Clifford Edmund Bosworth; 29 декабря 1928, Шеффилд, Великобритания — 28 февраля 2015, Йовил, графство Сомерсет, Великобритания) — британский востоковед (арабистика, иранистика). Член Британской академии. Главный редактор и один из авторов «Энциклопедии ислама», редактор-консультант и один из авторов энциклопедии «Ираника», один из авторов «Британники» и «Американы»^[3].

Учился в Оксфордском и Эдинбургском университетах. Преподавал в Сент-Эндрюсском университете, Манчестере и Принстоне^[3].

Автор более ста публикаций в журналах и сборниках, монографий. Сотрудничал с энциклопедиями «Американа», «Британника», «Ираника» (редактор-консультант) и «Энциклопедией ислама» (главный редактор)^[3].
