De Wikipedia, la enciclopedia libre

OpenWikiNG es un motor wiki implementado en ASP VBScript que utiliza XML. Por defecto trabaja con Microsoft SQL Server, aunque también es compatible con MySQL y Microsoft Access y otras bases de datos como Oracle. Necesita IIS como servidor web.

Permite editar utilizando texto enriquecido mediante un editor que no llega a ser WYSIWYG pero que transforma finalmente el texto a código HTML. Se está desarrollando a partir del proyecto OpenWiki y toma las siglas 'NG' de Next Generation. Está disponible desde el 2005.
