Nguyễn, también deletreado como Nguyen, es el apellido más común de Vietnam.[1]​[2]​ Cuarenta por ciento (40%) de los vietnamitas portan este apellido.[3]​[4]​[5]​ Una de las causas de su popularidad es que cuando la Dinastía Nguyễn se hizo con el poder, la mayoría de la población se cambió el nombre por Nguyen.
