Chaetolepis es un género con 19 especies[2]​ de plantas fanerógamas pertenecientes a la familia Melastomataceae. Es originario de Sudamérica.[3]​

Taxonomía

El género fue descrito por Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel y publicado en Commentarii Phytographici 72. La especie tipo es Chaetolepis microphylla (Bonpl.) Miq.[4]​
