Lecanicillium es un género de hongos del orden Hypocreales, actualmente consta de 21 especies.[1]​ Son hongos entomopatógenos, que anteriormente eran ampliamente conocidos como Verticillium lecanii (Zimmerman) Viegas.[2]​
