El Día Mundial del Modernismo se celebra cada 10 de junio[1]​ desde 2013 por iniciativa de Hungría.[2]​[3]​

Alrededor del Día Mundial del Modernismo se realizan muchas actividades complementarias como exposiciones, ferias, rutas, conferencias, publicaciones que, año tras año, ponen en valor esta corriente artística.[4]​

La fecha se eligió en recuerdo de Antonio Gaudí, quien falleció el diez de junio de 1926 y de Ödön Lechner, quien murió el 10 de junio de 1914.
