Coso o Coso taurino es el nombre que recibe en tauromaquia la plaza de toros, sitio o lugar cercado donde se corren y lidian toros y se celebran otras fiestas públicas.

Etimología

La palabra proviene del latín cursum, carrera, derivando su uso en el lugar que se utilizaba para correr. De ahí, su uso se extendió al lugar habilitado para distintos espectáculos, en este caso la lidia.
