Chácara (del quechua chajra) es, en Brasil, una pequeña propiedad rural (o una gran propiedad urbana) con casa de vivienda, cría de animales y cultivo de frutas y legumbres para venta.[1]​[2]​[3]​ En tiempos más recientes, las chácaras se hicieron, también, una propiedad (frecuentemente, la segunda propiedad de la familia) destinada a recreación y ocio durante fines de semana.
