English: RIO GRANDE, Brazil (May 9, 2011) The U.S. Coast Guard cutter Escanaba (WMEC 907) prepares to depart Rio Grande, Brazil, after the Atlantic phase closing ceremonies of UNITAS 52. Escanaba participated in the three-week exercise with the U.S. Navy, and navies from Brazil, Mexico, and Argentina. UNITAS 52 is a multinational exercise as part of Southern Seas 2011.
