Western Australian Community Resource Centres

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Western Australian Community Resource Centres are a government funded centres in Western Australia.

In the 1990s the Western Australian Government created funding for community centres in Western Australia.[1][2] The system was boosted in the 2000s by funding from the Royalties for Regions program.[3][4]

In most cases they were successors to earlier Telecentres around the state.[5][6][7][8] Some Community recreation centres have published newsletters.[9][10][11]
