Teacher: Would you like... Student: Would you like some juice? Student: Thank...thank you very much. Teacher: That's right. Yeah, the school, like, conveys the language to you in a very good way. It encourages you to go on and study. The teachers are very kind and gentle people. I've gotten so much help with things like, finding a job, everyday stuff, and more. I love kind teachers. Fukuoka is a very graceful and beautiful city. I love the ramen. About two years ago, my cousin studied here. My cousin said that Fukuoka was a fantastic city, so I thought I'd like to go there as well. This school has a lot of different classes. Do you want to prepare for graduate school? Study Japanese? Study English? Study math? There is something for everyone. The difference from other schools is that at our school- -you can receive an associate's degree after just two years. The associate's degree type from this school is "Culture and General Education", which means ...if you've only finished high school, it can be difficult to find full-time employment, but if you have- -an associate's degree, you meet the minimum legal requirements to find employment. I also work with only Japanese around me, the school helped me to find a job. First, when I arrived here, I went to an interview with the- -part-time job department and after three months, I got an answer and, yeah, was immediately employed. So, in Fukuoka it's not so difficult to get a job. You don't need to speak so much Japanese, especially like for easy work- -making bentos (lunch boxes), you know, like packing - for that you don't need such a high level of Japanese. It's fun! The teachers have a lot of kindness and my friends come from many different countries. It's an international environment, which makes it very interesting. First, we have over 60-70 Japanese students,- -and maybe around 300 overseas students studying Japanese here. We have a welcome event, the first day overseas students come to Fukuoka, Japanese students welcome them. Then also we have an excursion, so we go together to the beach,- -or maybe on a picnic. Comparing to Tokyo, this is an easy-living place. The living cost is cheap. We all welcome you to come to Fukuoka Foreign Language College to study. Everyone, we'll be waiting and we look forward to meeting you.
