Tecpan de Galeana (for Hermenegildo Galeana)[1] is one of the 81 municipalities of Guerrero, in southern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Tecpan de Galeana. The municipality covers an area of 2,537.8 km2 (979.9 sq mi).
In 2020, the municipality had a total population of 65,237,[2] up from 52,848 in 2005.[3]
