Streptomyces bottropensis is a bacterium species from the genus Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil.[1][2] Streptomyces bottropensis produces bottromycin,[3] dunaimycin[4][5] and mensacarcin.[6][7] Streptomyces bottropensis can metabolize (+)-carvone to (+)-bottrospicatol.[8][9]
