Star Pravah is a Marathi language General Entertainment TV Channel launched in 2008 by STAR TV and Fox International Channels.[citation needed] Its HD version (STAR प्रवाह HD) was launched on 1 May 2016. Star Pravaah has its tag line as "Aata Thambaycha Nai" (आता थांबायचं नाय) which means "Not to stop now!" giving an inspiration to continuous start. Star Pravaah also showcases Marathi Movies on Weekends. Their show Vithu Mauli is a popular show nowadays in Maharashtra. Some of the special shows from Star Plus and other star channels are dubbed in Marathi, its examples are Satyamev Jayate, Ted Talks India - Nayi Soch, Mahabharat, Mahadev, etc. But Mahabharat was not got much popularity in Marathi language as a dubbed show and hence quite soon after some of the episodes. Its Classical shows are still popular on Hotstar such as Devyani, Lakshya, Logori, Goth etc.
