Shuyesheh (Persian: شويشه), also Romanized as Shūyesheh; also known as Shavīsheh and Shevīsheh,[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Kalatrazan District[4] of Sanandaj County, Kurdistan province, Iran. It also serves as the administrative center for Kalatrazan Rural District, transferred from the village of Negel.[5] The city is populated by Kurds.[6]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,136 in 280 households.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 1,293 people in 330 households.[8] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,302 people in 390 households.[2]
