Shadipur is a village in Bhulath Tehsil in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) from Bhulath, 23 kilometres (14 mi) away from district headquarter Kapurthala. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch, who is an elected representative.

Demography

According to the report published by Census India in 2011,Shadipur has 55 houses with the total population of 247 persons of which 131 are male and 116 females. Literacy rate of Shadipur is 78.67%, higher than the state average of 75.84%. The population of children in the age group 0–6 years is 36 which is 14.57% of the total population. Child sex ratio is approximately 1250, higher than the state average of 846.[1]
