Sambou Soumano (born 13 January 2001) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward for French Ligue 2 club Quevilly-Rouen, on loan from Lorient.

Career

A product of the Senegalese academy Youth Elite Foot, Soumano began his senior career with the French club Pau, and followed that with a stint at Châteaubriant.[1] On 19 August 2021, he transferred to the reserve side of FC Lorient.[2] He made his professional debut as a late substitute with Lorient in a 1–1 Ligue 1 tie over Bordeaux on 24 October 2021[3]

On 20 August 2022, Soumano joined Eupen in Belgium on a season-long loan.[4] On 18 January 2023, he moved on a new loan to Rodez in Ligue 2.[5] On 2 August 2023, Soumano was loaned to Quevilly-Rouen, also in Ligue 2.[6]
