Shakthi is a 1980 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Vijayandand produced by Raghu Kumar. The film stars Jayan, Seema, Srividya and Jagathy Sreekumar in the lead roles. The film has musical score by K. J. Joy. Many scenes of the movie copied from 1976 Amitabh Buchan's Hindi film Deewar and 1979 film Kala Pathar. Jayan blindly tried to copy the helicopter scenes in Kolilakkam കോളിളക്കം his last film from 17/10/1980 released Hindi film of Bachan Dostana which caused the untimely accidental death of Jayan at the age of 41 on 16/11/1980 at Sholavaram, Madras.The climax mirror fight sequence was inspired by the 1973 Bruce Lee film Enter the dragon. The movie was in Hit chart.
