Career

Mbaeteka was born in Anambra, Nigeria and never played high school or college football.[1]

New York Giants

He was initially signed by the New York Giants on April 8, 2022, from the International Player Pathway Program.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] He was waived during final roster cuts on August 30, 2022, but re-signed with team's practice squad the following day.[9]

He was cut by the Giants on September 29, 2022.[10] He was re-signed on December 7 but was released on December 14.[11][12]

Chicago Bears

On May 4, 2023, Mbaeteka was signed by the Chicago Bears via the International Player Pathway Program.[13] He was waived on August 29, 2023 and re-signed to the practice squad.[14][15] He signed a reserve/future contract on January 8, 2024, but was released on March 15.[16]
