Paul Thwaite (born 1971) is a British banker, who was interim chief executive (CEO) of NatWest Group from July 2023, until he formally became CEO in February 2024.

Thwaite was born in Liverpool and educated at the Liverpool Blue Coat School in Wavertree.[1] He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Manchester.[1]

In 1997, he joined NatWest.[1]

On 16 February 2024, Thwaite formally became CEO of NatWest.[2][3] His basic salary will be £1.1 million.[1]
