The Ottoman-Tatar raid on Podolia (1524) was a raid organized by Crimean Khan Saadet I Giray with Ottoman support in 1524. After the raid, Podolia and Volyn lands were devastated.[1]

Battle

During a series of devastating attacks in 1524 on Podolia and Galicia, some Tatar groups could also ravage Volyn lands. In the early spring, 12 (or 13) thousand people took part in the attack. 12 (or 13) thousand people. horde came from across the Dnieper and devastated the lands up to Syanok (Volyn and Galicia suffered), burning the suburbs of Lviv and kosh near Mostysk. From here, Khan Aslam sent out his troops. When the troops led by the king finally moved towards Sandomierz to meet the attackers, the Tatars calmly withdrew from Mostysk. Prince Konstanty Ostrogski pursued them with small forces, but he did not dare to attack and recapture the yasyr.

Result

Attackers sacked the Churyliv Castle, Rohatyn, and burned down Zinkiv
